Notes : Make sure you read Samsung's press release " Samsung is flexible to market a stand-alone HD-DVD player whenever consumers demand it." Kind of interesting to see a die hard Blu-Ray company make that statement.

Anybody making noises about releasing an external Blu-ray BD-ROM drive? I have the HP HD100 HD-DVD-ROM external drive, and it would be super cool to get another drive just like it, but in blu flavor. =) I guess an internal combo reader would work just as well.

From your list it looks like the majority of hardware coming up is HD-DVD.
