Default Dialog Enhancement

Hi,
I own a toshiba hd xa2, and was wondering if i should turn on dialog enhancement. i am using an onkyo 604 and am using hdmi out with truehd on my matrix set. i am wondering because while the truehd track sounds great, dialog seems to be muffled a little bit, for example before the burly brawl in reloaded(just got it to work!!!) when mr smith is talking to neo, very hard to hear, and i gotta crank it up to about 70-75 to hear smith, then the brawl starts and my whole building wakes up from the sheer aural sound wall coming from my system.

You've probably figured this out by now but any kind of feature like dialog enhancement, basically any feature that say enhancement or boost should most likely be left off. There just fake enhancements that take away form the original intent of the director. There more annoying than anything.
