Default I think that something is wrong with my A2

Did anyone ever experience the picture just shutting off?
The player still plays but I have no sound Nor Picture?
I turn it off, Turn it on again and everything will be fine for a few
minutes. Then out of the blue, the sound and picture just disapear.
Do you know what that is?

That's a post from a guy that bought my old player off ebay. Any idea what maybe the problem?

A guy from Canada emailed me and asked that question but I'm not really sure what can be the problem. So it's just his.

It sounds like the auto shutoff. If it's not in use for a certain period of time, it powers down.

Edit: The screensaver could also be kicking in.

I have yet to hear of this issue, could be a number of issues. For all we know his HDMI cable could be loose.

Update:

For some reason, the player will not accept the switcher.
When I use the HDMI on the TV and plug them direct without the use of
the switcher everything seems to work just fine. Hopefully the 1.5 firmware will fix that. I only have one HDMI on my TV. But I have 4 HDMI Componants. That's why I needed a Switcher.

That's the latest from the guy that bought my player.
