A35 with auto HDMI Switch

Does anyone have the A35 hooked up with a HDMI switch that automatically detects the signal?? I just got one and it picks up my Samsung 1400 automatically but not the A35. Are there any settings to change on the A35 to help this? I am using firmware 4.0 and the switch i am using is the Pelican Switch Cable.

If someone has one that is working with an automatic switch please note which one you are using. Thanks.
