Exclamation HD-XA2 No digital sound with HDMI video 1080p

I have been returned around 6 HD-XA2 Toshiba devices because when I am put the HDMI for output video 1080p and digital sound coax or optical we have a big problem: No sound or The device turned off after 30 - 45 minutes playing any HD-DVD Movie.

I have a Sony Full HD 46" and Sony Home Theatre 6.1 żAnybody knows something about it?

By the way, I have a Sony Bluray working perfectly, not problems. I tried to solve this issue with Toshiba USA, Mexico and Japan but nobody can answer or solve my problem.

Thanks for your help or information.

There are a couple Sony receivers that have HDMI passthrough, that is they pass the video through, but do nothing with the sound. STRDG800 is one of them.

Edit...noticed you have BD. Is it using HDMI for the audio?
