Exclamation [Help] planning to get Toshiba HD-A2 :)

Dear HDD members,
I'm planning to buy a Toshiba HD-A2 for my bed room , my setup over there is a little bit old, I have a 5.1 Audio System w/o Optical, and Sammy 40" 1080i w/ HDMI Input, though I don't know how the HD-DVD movies will look and sound like, cause I'm used to my sammy 1080p TV ?
what do you think?

Did you set up your XA2 in you Bedroom for a Test drive? That would be a Real gauge if you think it's worth it. It'll all depend on your eye also, I think in all honesty it comes down to how much you watch disc media in your Bedroom. If you do then I say go for it at least you won't have to worry about whether the disc is SD or HD.

I agree with Ohgami. Try it out with your other player, if you like it go for it.

will do, but I'm afraid that my 5.1 audio system won't be compatible with the HD-A2, since my audio system doesn't come with optical input.

Would THIS help? It might if your 5.1 receiver accepts digital audio via RCA coax. It's only $23 too. Cheaper than a new receiver...
