Default A2 System Failure

I just tried to watch "Gods and Generals" and after the Warner Brothers logo at the beginning the player locked up and says "System Failure" and locks up. I know that "Gods and Generals" isn't a popular HDDVD but has anyone else had this problem?

I have it and a A2, both worked fine. Of course I didn't watch the whole 3+ hours.

Does the A2 still boot after system failure? Or does it have "system failure" with this disk only?

If it still boots you might want to reinitialize the player (and check the firmware ver)

Actually it reads "System Error" on the screen and "DONOTPLAY" on the face of the player. And, yes this is the only disc I've ever had this problem on with my A2. I was using Firmware 2.7, but upgraded to 2.8 to see if it would help any.

Will it play any other HDs?

Have you tried unplugging it from the wall and waiting about 5 minutes before plugging it back in?

If that doesn't work, go into Setup -> Maintenance -> Initialize and reset the player to defaults to see if that helps.

Actually every time the player locks up I don't have a choice but to unplug it from the wall, but I haven't tried resetting back to the defaults. Thanks.
