Default Noise Reduction in XBOX 360 HD Drive

Anybody have any luck with noise reduction on the XBox 360 and HD drive? I've had mine for a few months, and the only drawback is the noise of the player - which is bothersome. I found an article on ExtremeTech about using rubber grommets and Dynamat - has anybody done this, or tried an external noise reduction solution? Has it worked?

Thanks in advance!

No, you will get used to it, or just turn the volume up.

FYI - I installed the Dynamat and washers. The 360 itself is much less noisy - maybe by half. The HD DVD drive is still loud. I may Dynamat that in coming weeks, as I still have a few sheets left over.
