Default Toshiba HD-A2 vs HD-A3

Sorry, I'm sure this topic has been discussed before. I was wondering if anyone quickly quickly sum up the differences between the Toshiba HD-A2 HD DVD Player and the Toshiba HD-A3 HD DVD Player. Thanks!

Only diff is cosmetics(Ithink the hd-a2 looks better) and the only REAL BIG diff is that if you don't have a true hd receiver (Ie onkyo 605, etc) the hd-a2 will give you 1.5 Mbs out downconvert via the OPTICAL.... the a-3 DOES NOT!!!! it can only do 640kbs..So that's a huge diff since 1.5 mbs downconvert to DTS sounds pretty dam good!

also the A3 comes with 2 movies in the box (300 and Bourne Identity) if you can find a really good deal on a A2 and dont care about the movies, its a great player.

Went with the A2 for the audio benefits. Agree also that it looks a bit snazzier than the A3.

I'm happy as a clam at high tide with the A2. Hoping one day a firmware update will make it peppier, but it was the right price for a teacher on a tight budget.
