Default need a toshiba player that can decode dts es and dolby ex via optical

i have a 360 add on and i was finally about 2 watch face off and it wouldn't convert it to dts es!!! i was wondering did anybody know which toshiba hd player can convert dts es(6.1) and dolby ex through the optical cable???

I don't think any player can convert / decode DTS EX internally. But I beleive any player can bitstream it over opticalfor the receiver to decode - if your receiver supports DTS EX.

went 2 bestbuy and got the hd a-35 and it's cool but im taking it back cause i found out it only does 6 and 7 ch over the hdmi and not optical
i'm just going 2 keep using the 360 add on cause to me it sounds just as good as the stand alone! but anyway thanks 4 all your help!

The A35 decodes DTS HD-MA and TrueHD and also bitstreams the codecs to your receiver if that is where you want the decoding to occur. The 360 is inferior from an audio standpoint and the A35 has 5.1 analog out if your receiver doesn't have the HDMI.
