I don't see whay this is a big deal of course they are keeping HD DVD. Think they would actually knock on SONY'S door and say, "Uh, yeah Sony we like to put part of your PS3 in to our Xbox 360" Even Bill Gates noted "digital media, more movies coming to X-Box via Live"

It doesn't necessarily mean they would run to Blu-ray. That scope is narrow. It shows they are still supporting HDDVD in leu of downloads and other factors. I doubt they would run to Sony and want to install BD drives in their game consoles. This article shows (at least for the time being) that Microsoft is dedicated to HDDVD. I think this is a big deal noting the size and pull of Microsoft. It was this company that many studios and hardware producers found reassuring when they chose a format.

Lol. If Microsoft would do so in knocking at Sonys door, trying to get a Blu-Ray agreement they would be obviously dumb feeding their own videogame- console-enemy taking the videogame wars onto a new level.

It will be interesting to see how committed MS is to HD DVD. Because of their deep pockets they remain a huge factor.
