Default A30 Question

Hello All,
Santa (oh ok, my wife)just recently got me a A30 player to replace my A2. I love the A30 but have a really slow response time when it comes to the remote, is this normal? My A2 was easily the best machine I have owed, it never let me down.

I do love my A30 and the HDs never looked and sounded so good but this response time just sucks and I would like to make sure it is not my player.

Thanks for all your help.

Jay

Did you try new batteries in the remote?
My A30 remote is quick and responsive.

Congrats on the wife.
I wish mine bought me HD stuff.

I have a non related question about the A30 to the one above but I figured I would just bump this instead of starting a new thread.

I just got an A30 for Christmas and saw nothing in the box about getting my 5 free ones. I bought it from Amazon and was promised the 5 free discs but I see nothing in the box about selecting the five.

Any suggestions?

You can just go to Toshiba.com and print the rebate off of their website. If you don't want to print it out then just go to a store like BB or CC and grab one of their small rebate forms. They're laid out right next to the players.
