Default A2 to A30?

Should I return my A2 I got for $100 to get the A30 from Amazon, or A20 from ebay?

I found out my tv can do 24hz.
Would there be difference?

I believe you would benefit somewhat from an upgrade to a 1080p machine that can output at 24hz. Hopefully in the near future you will also have other options besides just Toshiba.

supposedly the 24 hz output on the a30 is good..

unlike the regular 60hz output that reviewers commented one.

I just made the switch from an A-2 to an A-30 and there's a pretty big difference on my tv (WD-65833). I read about issues with the Toshiba 24 fps on avs where if you have an older tv it might not get the 24 fps signal from the player though. Something to do with not being able to force the 24 fps through HDMI if the tv does not announce that it's capable of receiving 24 fps.

I just upgraded from an A2 to an A30 on my main setup.

I wouldn't say it's "night and day" in terms of PQ or AQ, but the boot times are a bit better and the menus feel a bit "snappier". Overall I'm happy.

Plus I got 10 free movies.
