Default Should I return my A2

I got the blockbuster deal for the A2 at $98. But i have been seeing on Amazon and other places A3 for 199.99 with 10 movies. I was wondering is that a better deal? Should I return the A2 and pick up a A3? Is the A3 better then the A2?

Depending on your setup, the A3 is actually worse. If your using optical for audio, the A2 outputs 1.5Mbps DTS, while the A3 only does DD at a lower bitrate. Audio over optical is better on the A2. The A3 may have a slightly faster boot time. The A2 (And A1 even) are still supported with new firmware updates.

The difference between the A2 and A3 seems more to do with cost savings for Toshiba than anything else.

If your happy with your A2 keep it. Why hassle taking your sys. apart reboxing then returning...then ordering another HD Player...sounds like a pain that can be avoided. Feel good ya got the $98 deal. For the hundred less you spent you can just buy those movies.

Enjoy...whatever you decide.

You could always get the A3 deal, and sell the A2. I'm sure that you wouldn't have a hard time getting someone to buy it for $98.

Or, if you decided that you like the A2 better as a player, keep it, and sell the A3 for $100. Then you have the 10 discs, and your choice of players.

If I wasn't waiting for the Sammy 5000, I would take that A3 deal myself.

i would keep the a2...and take the $100 saved and buy 6 movies at deep discount dvd now with the extra 20% off deal and that would be a total of 11 movies

Thanks for all the tips. I think I will just keep my A2. More then luckly my family is going to get me a couple of movies for it anyways so I can still get some free I just thought there was a big difference between the two. When I first got the A2 the the menus and loading was really slow but after the 2.5 firmware update everything works just great. Thank you for all your help.

I have the A3 and I am very happy with it, but I would recommend keeping the A2.

They are both good players.

Keep the A2, it is a GREAT player.

I thought about upgrading to the A3, but since I am using optical as my audio, the A2 is much better from what I have read.
