Default Buying advice?

I've decided format wars keep people employed and "taking a stand" is for how you feel about the plight of displaced persons in Darfur. So I'm looking to add an HD DVD player to our BD player, as it's trivial to me what color box my movies come in. Here's the problem our: BD is a PS3. I was going to buy a stand-alone BD eventually, but then Sony added upscaling and the PS3, no matter what people may say or think about it for games, started getting some reviews as the best upscaling DVD/BD player on the market. So it's stayed our only BD player, and it is a good one. I don't want to spend a fortune on an HD DVD player, but I don't want to cheap-out on my HD DVD stand-alone player unless there are bargain models that produce with HD DVD the same quality I'm getting with BD from the PS3. (My opinion, for movies, quality of BD and HD DVD are the same; there are little extra feature bits one side and the other, but for flat-out just enjoying HD movies, equal.)

Our needs are somewhat limited as we own an urban townhouse, meaning a couple thousand sq. ft., not a 4,000 sq. ft. suburban palace, and necessarily the rooms are small, so our two HDTVs are both 32" 720p models; at our viewing distances that's perfect and the TVs aren't so big they become the dominant feature of the rooms they are in.

Any suggestions on an HD DVD player?

Oh I can get that for as little as $300 - $325, depending on online or shop sale. That's perfect.

Circuit City is having a deal next week. $100 gift card w/ purchase. Also, if you get one of the G3 boxes (A3, A30, etc) you get Bourne Identity & 300 w/ the player. I would recomend the A3 because you don't need a 1080p player with your setup... So with the $100 gc it would only be $200.
