Default 360 HD DVD Add On Sales Rise ONE THOUSAND percent on Amazon!!

Quote:
We just learned what happens when you discount the price on the Xbox 360 HD DVD player and throw in five free movies. Our conclusion, they sell more than they did before. Looking through Amazon.com's sales rank movers and shakers, the Xbox 360 HD DVD player's sales increased over 1,000% since the $20 price drop. Who needs economics 101 when you've got Amazon.com. And if you're looking to cash in on this super sweet deal, give your local Best Buy a try, some stores are offering it for $149.

Wow, one thousand percent. I guess the desire to get in on HD video's is abit higher than I thought!

Percentage doesn't matter. What matters is how many they are actually selling. If they was only selling a few a week then that percentage means nothing.

I understand what your saying however, circumstantial evidence would indicate that this promotion is selling a crapload of HD DVD add ons. Over at the AVS forums there are reports of mass sell outs at the Best Buy's that were selling the Add on for 150 dollars ....

I think the demand for HD movies is there, it's always been just a matter of price.

Well worthy of a darn good entry level HD-DVD player. I've had mine since it was launched and I love it!
