Is Toshiba still offering HD DVD XA2 hardware repairs?

As my title says...I fired up the XA2 to watch some regular DVD's the other day (in my opinion, this player upscales the best) and the 'Loading' screen kept on clocking I unplugged it, restarted it, etc with no results.
Does anyone know if I can still get this player fixed? It would kill me not to be able to use this player anymore!! I have over 120 HD DVD's and use it for regular DVD as well.

Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!

Buy another XA2 off ebay. They can be found for around $100 or even less, which would be cheaper than paying to get it fixed + shipping costs two ways. Besides, I don't think Toshiba would want to fix it anyway.
