Default Just purchased an HD-XA2. Question about firmware!

Hi all,

I'm stoked because I just got a "like new" HD-XA2 with everything included (remote, HDMI cable, etc.) for only $195 - minus $195 in Amazon Credit - so it cost me absolutely nothing. Looking forward to the 1080/24 and DVD upscaling I keep hearing about.

Having said that, I've a question about the firmware. The seller says its "up to date," so I assume it's firmware 4, but if I receive it and it isn't actually up-to-date, is there somewhere I can still get the last firmware update?

You can try an online upgrade, or if that doesn't work download this file from Toshiba's website:

Burn it to a CD-R or CD-RW as an image.

Thanks, Viking61. I actually just received my XA2 today and it's already had the XE1 region-free firmware installed (and has been upgraded to 4.0.) So I'm good.
