Default For those having trouble with the ISO CD Burn procedure for the 2.0 update....

Ive seen more than one person having issues with the CD that they burned for the 2.0 FW update. Well, sorry if this is a repost or whatever....but you need a tool that is capable of burning an ISO image to a CD since thats what the player is expecting! Here is a link to a FREE Microsoft power tool that worked perfectly for me: http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm

Follow the instructions and use this tool to burn the 2.0 update and then pop the CD in your Toshy player. In about 20 minutes you're done!

For same strange reason this is not working at all. The disc will be created and the disc space will be allocated, but using the Explorer, I find that there is no file stored on the CD. Does anybody knows why?

Nero was able to burn it no problem, but that was after DVD Decryptor (which I also use for .iso's) & Power ISO was'nt able to. Very odd

Here you go - it's Toshiba Canada, but the most recent updates for HD DVD products in a CD .iso format.

What keeps saying that? Your burning software or the player? I used Nero 6 to burn the iso from my link, and both Nero and my XA1 were happy with it.

I had to update my Nero with the latetest patches, but then it worked indeed. Updated directly from 2.0 to 2.3 without a problem.
