A30 Remote control

i want to replace the cheap a30 remote control with a nicer back lit one . Is there another toshiba remote that is compatible with the a30 ? i prefer a toshiba one , not the universal remotes and those cost way to much for a remote control, i cant justify spending to much on this.

thanks for your time hope to get some anwsers :iconhddvdpngci7:

my $.02 . . .
I believe the A35 remote will also operate the A30 - but it is not backlit.
The XA2 remote IS backlit - but I do not know if it will operate the A30.

I know the A1 and A3 remotes both work on the A30, but I don't think either is backlit.

You can buy one from the XA2 to use - I've heard the HD-A series remotes work with the XA2, so I have to believe that the signal would be the same the other way around. Here is one for $20 as is, $22 for this one, and this one for $25.

I'm not certain that it would work, but it may be worth ~$20 to give it a go...
