Default FT (for BD)

Howdy Folks!

We've been cleaning up/out our video collection, trading up DVD -> BD where available, etc. I still have a few HD-DVDs floating around here, figured I'd post them up.

I've been a member on other forums for 10+ years, just never registered here (only so many MBs you can handle). I can provide outstanding trade/seller/buyer references from a couple of car forums (where I've done fairly high dollar transactions - recently sold a set of wheels to a guy in Germany).

**SELLER UPDATE**

Now with a Trader Score!

My HD-DVDs for trade:

Star Trek: TOS *SOLD/TRADED*
Mint, opened S1, HD-DVD (older HD/DVD combo, all packaging, cards, etc., has the very common broken tab on the outer clear case), this is the set with the remastered effects only [edited: 01.02.2010]

300 *SOLD/TRADED*
Mint, opened, played once. Combo, single disk edition.

Transformers
Mint, opened, played once, two disk set.

Miami Vice
Unrated cut sealed, cutout, combo format I believe.

Billy Madison *SOLD/TRADED*
Free with any of the above disks (sealed, cutout)

My preference would be to swap for some BDs. Our collection is pretty modest, so there's plenty we don't have. We tend towards SciFi/Horror/Action/Comicbook type flicks, but also are huge fans of film from Scorcese, Kubrick, etc.

I'd be fine with shipping first given my new member status. I also snapped a few pics I can PM any interested buyer (since my <10 posts doesn't allow me to post them in a regular thread).

the HD DVD TOS series set does NOT have the original effects--
only the "new" ones.
only the blu-ray includes the option to watch with the "original" effects.

Thanks for that info Arkadin. I was going to buy the HD DVD discs, but I might hold out and pick up the blu-ray now! Good to know.

Thanks, I'll revise my original post. I didn't realize these only included the new FX as I only watched those [newer] versions and thought I remembered there being an option for the older.

I also got S2 and S3 on BD for Christmas so I may have been assuming the HD-DVDs also offered the original and new FX.

Bump with a few Blurays I'd be interested in (to maybe make the trade option easier).

Gangs of New York
300
Dark Knight
Watchmen

and...

Most Kubrick, Scorsese, superhero, horror titles, sci-fi, Pixar...

Plus I can supplement with PP or Amazon GC as needed depending on the nature of the deal!

Thanks for looking!
