I was gonna post this too. I was wondering if it rings up at 14.99 or full price then takes off 10 bucks. If it just took off the 10 dollars then maybe we could price match and get the discount.

Probably rings up at full price, then when the cashier hits the total button a screen will pop up that says a 'package discount' applies, and the cashier applies the discount which will reduce the price of each movie $10. I don't really see how this would make a difference , though...

Because he wants to first get a price match to another store such as Target, then get the $10 off that already reduced price. That would allow for the best possible final price.

Best Buy's price match policy excludes 'double dipping' so it wouldn't matter anyway.

That's not always true. When they had their "buy 3 Blu-rays, get $20 off" sale a few months ago, I had them pricematch Target first, and then the $20 came off the new lower total. Their computers are programmed for a sale like that, so as long as 3 Blu-ray titles appeared, the discount was taken. It didn't matter what the individual prices of each disc were.

Sounds like I'll need to exploit that next time around - good call.

I doubt it will work on this package though, since it sounds like your example was a "buy three" offer, and this one is "each" type of offer.
