Default [UK] XBOX Video Store Vs iTunes Video store.

I'm considering getting either the Apple TV or an XBOX360 to use with downloads/rentals.

I've thought of the pros and cons and this is all I can think of:
Apple TV Pro's:
Includes Wifi.
We are already mac users so it will intergrate with our current computers easily.
Apple's store use 's instead of a points system.
I could rip my existing DVD collection using Handbrake to stream films from my Mac to the AppleTV.
Much smaller than a 360.

Apple TV Cons:
I can't see that it includes HD cables. (please correct me if i'm wrong)
Can't se any HD content on the UK store yet. (please correct me if i'm wrong)

XBOX360 Pro's:
XBOX360 Includes High Definition Component/HDMI cables.
XBOX360 games.
Microsoft already have High definition content available.
Cheaper on its own than an Apple TV.

XBOX360 Cons:
Expesive Wifi adapter.
Would need to buy seperate software to stream content from my mac to the 360.
20GB Hard Drive.

Any suggestions or should I just wait until Sony have an online rental/download system on offer?

Thanks!

Just remember: with the Xbox Live Video Marketplace (XBLVM), you can only rent movies, but you can buy and own television episodes.

With AppleTV, you can buy both movies and TV episodes.

To me, the XBLVM is very convenient for movie rentals, especially since it nearly has all studio support. I've also bought TV episodes (which you can buy in HD), such as Looney Toons, The Twilight Zone, The Colbert Report, and other shows.

XBLVM is very much worth it, especially if you already have an Xbox 360, which you do. It's a convenient way to get the video content you want and it is very easy to use. Content is in 720p, but I've never really had an issue with it. It looks much better than the SD versions.

If you want software to stream video to the 360 from a mac, use Connect360. It's a great program, and it's very discreet, and it works with WiFi and regular Ethernet connections.

Thanks Liqwid.

I currently don't own a 360 which is why I'm asking.

I never did get to see the xbox movie store before I sold my elite.
