Default Which version of Terminator 2 do you prefer?/Sky Net edition pre release.

Terminator 2 Sky Net Edition comes in about a month so I thought this is a good time to start a poll.

Which version of Terminator 2 do you prefer?

**154 min Extended Special Edition**
Spoiler
This version contains 2 minutes of additional footage where the T-1000 searches John's room and an alternative ending of the future with old Sarah Connor. Note This version is an easter egg to the Ultimate Edition DVD and The Sky Net Edition Blu-ray according to this UK review

I have the Studio Canal HD DVD version of this film. Which is the 153-minute Special Edition extended cut (labeled as the "Director's Cut"). It doesnt have the searching of Johns room and the alternate ending with the older Sarah Connor.

So is it the 152-minute version you speak of or is the 153-minute version something else?

My bad, I was probably referring to the German Director's cut of Terminator 2. I didn't realize there was more than one European HD-DVD release of T2.

Watching Arnold smile is really painful. Added Miles talking scene is just slows movie down. I can do without that guy beating up Sarah. I can't decide on the Reese scene. Hey, its Reese but slows movie down. T1K killing dog is somewhat important. The reprogramming chip scene and added footage of trashing CyberDyne I like. The T1K fucking up parts I find very important since its basically indestrucable in the threatical cut which I did not like.
Arnold smile haunts me and I'm not a fan of 2+ hour movies so its the threatical for me.
I like T3& probably T4 so no to the hidden ending.

Arnie trying to smile was very funny, possibly the best acting he's ever done. The rest of the additional scenes were pointless, they just slowed the film down.

All those votes for the 154 minute version must be accidental. That ending with old Sarah Connor is hideously bad.

I like all of the added scenes in the Special Edition myself (152 minute) so that gets my vote. I don't watch the theatrical cut anymore.

Yeah the version I have (HD DVD) has all the added scenes but the bedroom scene (where the T1000 was in John Connors room) and the weird Sarah Connor vision thingy. Odd that they didnt add the bedroom scene in on my version though. My version is listed as 153 minute on the cover art.

Definitely the 152m SE for me.

Enabling the T101's learning ability in the gas station makes the next scene make sense when Arnie busts out the car window & tears open the steering column to start the car. John hops in, flips down the visor where the keys were & says "Are we learning yet?" while dangling the keys in front of him. That pays off later when Arnie gets in the SWAT truck outside Cyberdyne & gets the keys from the visor. It also puts the whole T101-trying-to-smile into context as well.

The extra Miles Dyson stuff gives the character a bit more depth which I like.
