Default Are You Upgrading All Your DVDs?

I was curious as to how many of you are replacing your old dvds with new HDs as they come out. I more or less replaced my laserdisc with dvds. It was very costly. I am trying to only get new releases but it's damn hard. What is you stance?

I'm buying new release dvds only, I agree my Toshiba upconverts my SD dvds just fine.

I still have about 100 LaserDiscs or so in storage. There are a few I watch once and a while, but that's about it.

Buying new releases but slowly trying to upgrade the DVDs if it's a good enough transfer. Basically as BanthaPoodoo said, got to upgrade the "eye candy" or the ones I watch a lot.

I've upgraded 11 HD DVDs and 4 Blu-rays from my DVD collection. The rest I didn't have.

Generally I'm only buying new releases or movies I don't have already on DVD but I did buy the Fast and the Furious HD DVD because it was cheap and the PQ was a definite upgrade.

Smile I'm upgrading some of my sd dvd's.

I am only upgrading some of my sd dvd's. Some are comedy's which I only have like 3 on Blu Ray and HD DVD. I really dont see upgrading comedy dvd's where you dont need upgrading ya know. I'll replace my Matrix DVD's, Pirates of the Caribean I will replace on May 22, Spider Man 1&2 I will replace, Lord of the rings I will replace. Saw 1-3 I will keep as sd dvd, any of the american pie I will keep as sd dvd. Stuff like that. Once Desperado, El Mariachi and Once apon a time in Mexico I will replace!! Once X-men 1&2 comes out I'll replace that one as well!!
Mischa.

The pq of the sd dvd's on my XA2 is so good I won't have to upgrade all. But I will for some like I did with Batman begins and a few others. But I will definitly buy my new releases on HD when available............
