Default Want a Blu-Ray PLayer! Please help me out and answer some questions for me.

Okay so I want to get a blu-ray player. All I want to do is watch hi def blu ray movies on my hdtv. My tv is only 1080i and it says hdmi on the back but theres no room to plug it under where it says it. I can plug where it says HD 1 or HD 2 outputs.

model 30HF85

So which specific blu ray player do you recomend from my info do get the best picture?
Which cables do I need component or hdmi cables?
Do both cables show the same quality?
Are they sold seperatly? and r audio cables sold seperatly?

Your set has 2 HDMI inputs. Are you saying both are filled?

If you have one available you can use that input for your BD player.

Right now the best option is probably the PS3 because it's the easiest to upgrade firmware on. Otherwise you can get a good deal on the BDP-1400 or the BDP-S300 for around $400.

Yes. The HDMI is the best connection for high-def.
