Default Sony still losing big on PS3. Any chance of a price reduction?

According to the most recent estimate the manufacturing cost of the PS3 is $ 840.45 dollars or a net loss of $ 241.45 dollars on every PS3. That's before you take into account marketing costs. The estimated savings with the announced reduction in the cost of production of blue diodes is $100.00 which still leaves Sony in the hole for $141.45 dollars on every PS3 sold + marketing costs.

I don't see any reduction on the price of the PS3 any time soon with those numbers.
