Just got it this evening and I've had it freeze my PS3 three times now, first was when I tried to play one of the movie previews from the main menu, second was when I was quiting from a server and third when I hit the button to spawn into a server. The only way to get out of it is to reset the entire PS3.

I have not hosted a server at all and I'm playing from the disc install.

Game is great when it's not freezing.

I agree, pathetic

You could very well be right but I can promise you one thing - I work for a major VG publisher and if even one person puts up a report that they froze six times in one day, everyone on that project gets real nervous. Things like this have a way of spreading faster then you can stop them and with a weekend right around the corner, the last thing the Warhawk peeps want is game sites running this before they find the problem or put out a statement.

I just bought it on Thursday. The servers were only down on Friday from 5am-4pm....and they told us the night before.

So what? The game is great, and a few hours wait won't kill anybody.

Note: It hasn't crashed once for me yet.

my system has frozen a couple times not too mention stats are not showing up for some people mine is acting funky but eventually appears. server disconnects aren't that bad but i've only been using the official sony servers to play. that being said this game rocks my frickin socks off. i was so frustrated with beta and they really polished the game from that.
