I bought a 55 inch Samsung 6 series 4K tv which is an easy upgrade over what I had. Still just live by myself in an apartment and sit fairly close. Its sweet!

Still have an original Xbox One, so the only 4K I get is from the TV apps. I could ponder a PS4 Pro, or Xbox One S....but I'm gonna tryyyyyyy to limp all the way to a Xbox One X.

Nice! You can find an S real cheap and make it a secondary 4K BD player down the road. Otherwise, I would wait.

That's the thing....it's just me and one TV. My original plan was to wait for the Xbox anyway before I even thought about a TV....at the moment its bigger and better looking so it's not a total waste without native content anyway.

I honestly probably WOULD buy a PS4 Pro if it did 4k Blu Ray....but it doesn't.....so.....

The 4K UHD player has turned out to be a bigger deal to me than I thought it would.. however.. even 4K + HDR couldn't save the Assassins Creed movie.. regrettable purchase.

Been considering the $200 minecraft bundle to use as a UHD player. Any thoughts on how it compares to standalone players?

Still P'd at Sony for not including one in the Pro.

Haha. Ill probably never watch it.

Ironically I came home today just now and my Xbox is having start up errors. If this reset doesn't fix it I may end up with an Xbox S sooner than I planned. 😑

Turn it in for credit, use credit to buy S. Then, turn in S for credit, use credit to buy PC.

When the new AMD space heaters launch in a week of two, the GTX 1070 may well get down to $250. Ryzen 1500x is only $189. It's a great time to build a PC.

I have a good PC with a 960 in it. A GFX card update would go a long way.

I'm still gonna buy a One X. Its just my lifestyle choice.

Wheeling and dealing is hard to make work in your favor without effort I just don't care to put in.

Could be fun to compare OG Xbox One to Xbox One X on the same TV and setting eventually.

Either be entirely disappointing or reassuring.

I wonder how much better Adobe Premiere is on leaning on the GPU for 4K video rendering than the CPU. Could be an extra excuse. I need.to stay NVIDIA because Adobe uses the CUDA cores.
