Default Monster Hunters Frontier 2007 PC game heading to JP 360

Wonder if it'll cross over to the states. Too bad the PC game was never ported to English.

From what I hear, it's the worst MH game. This is a franchise that thrived on the PSP even though it started out on the PS2. Even MH3 didn't do that well on the Wii.

Frontier is basically MMO-like but the core game is essentially a pseudo port of the 2006 MH2 for PS2.

I think the Gears skins in LP2 were far more exciting announcements than this, as was the short live action Dead Rising movie.

I had a blast playing Monster Hunter Freedom on the PSP with friends back in the day. It was like our weekly Game Nerd version of Poker night, only with Pizza and ad hoc Monster Hunter sessions. The game is tons of fun in co-op. Too bad there's no PS3 version, I'd get this in a heart-beat.

Add this to Lost Odyssey on why you should get a 360

She'll crack eventually, looking at this and XBL parties = most likely win.

Though dude Mass Effect 2 = awesome, period. This feel like GoTY already.

They haven't announced a western release, and I very much doubt it'll see one. It's just a low budget port (looks like a high res PS2 game), and it utilizes a subscription through KDDI I believe (1449Y/month).

The whole thing is puzzling. I guess MS really wanted MH and this was Capcom's solution.
