Default Record of Agarest War is largest PSN game ever

8 - 10 gigs? Holy hell, is that going to take a long time to download. Could actually take up to one-half of someones hard-drive if they have the old 20 gigger. Damn -

It'd be closer to 2/3rds seeing as a 20 gigger gives you closer to 15 gigs of space. But Record of Agarest War was originally a disc based game in Japan, but I guess they decided that it would be too expensive to print on disc for the U.S. because it's not going to sell very much anyway. By putting it on the PSN, it might be profitable. Might.

This would take a week to download.

5-8 hours for me.

I won't get it though. Not until I find out how to start games from an external HDD. I don't want that monster on my 60GB (on which there's only 20GB left).

I have a pretty decent connection, and PSN is just slow. Though, this isn't the smackdown forum...so I'll refrain from too much negativity towards it.

Actually it's not. SIREN: Blood Curse is, but only if you have all 12 episodes. IIRC, S:BC was 20 gigs total.

Game looks interesting, if priced right I may get. (Dragon age is a 15 gig Steam download, and there are a lot more at 10gigs + so this is the future)

Apparently not.

The future is in better compression techniques.

They had a 512kb demo of a pretty amazing looking shooter some years ago. Too bad they never made it into a full game.
