Default Avatar Multiplayer Trailer

Lots of big guns...Thats about all I can say.

It could happen this week, it could happen next week, but sometime in the month of December, Ubisoft will decide to liberate Avatar from the shackles of game development. And when that happens, we're prepared to go directly online and start popping 10-foot blue things with our big human weapons. This is about survival, ya dig?

It appears that in addition to simply plugging bullets into the creatures, Ubisoft will also be allowing for some form of capture the flag (wait, isn't this about survival?). Other than that one crucial detail, the only info we gleaned from the multiplayer trailer above is that there'll be a ton of explosions, even more mid-air flip-kicks, and explosion/flip-kick-laden jungle combat when the game does finally come out.

James Cameron's Avatar: The Game Review

Gamespot: 5.5 mediocre - This disappointing film tie-in transforms the magical into the mundane.

And to think they wasted a half hour of Ubisoft's E3 conference for this

The last Avatar game I played got me 1000 achievements in 5 minutes. I have a feeling this one will be a little bit more difficult.

The last Avatar does not have anything in common with this one.

Totally different series.

But ya, that exploit was nice. My bro (achievement whore Nr.1) told me about it.

I rented this and it's pretty shitty. Hahaha. It does support a variety of 3D options but my television doesn't support real 3D.

I never get sick playing games. But if I ever got close to feeling disoriented or ill, driving the buggy in this game is it. The camera shakes all over the place while driving it.

Hopefully the movie is a whole lot better. James Cameron has a whole lot riding on this one. Damn shame about the game though, was half looking forward to it. With Dragon Age sucking up all my free time I actually have a backlog of titles to play, so I'm really not in a hurry to try it out. Hopefully gamefly will ship me a copy out sometime in the next few months...like maybe April or May. There's nothing coming out in those months right?
