Default Looking for 5.1 gaming headphones - any recommendations?

Ive been googling it for the past week on and off and theres a few that came up but most seem to only work on PC. I need something that will have a 3.5mm headphone jack, working on consoles and can plug into a receiver or tv (when running via HDMI sound). The Zalman theatre 6 was intriging cause of the price $50 but was told it wont work on consoles. Im willing to spend up to $200. Gaming with stereo headphones really sucks.

If it wasnt for the fact that my wife constantly b%tches me out when shes trying to study with my 5.1 and I cant ever play it even at a normal hearable level when shes home, I wouldnt even consider 5.1 headphones. But its either I play with barely hearable sound or pay up for 5.1 headphones where I can actually crank my sound

I haven't even heard of such a thing. Even if headphones can actually reproduce 5.1 channels, how exactly can 5.1 digital channels be transmitted over a regular headphone stereo wire? Or is it just going to do Pro Logic or something? Curious.

Good options are:

Turtle Beach X41 (will work on both PS3 and 360 but mic is 360 only)
Tritton AxPro which has a mic that works for both PS3 and 360 but it's wired.

A single headphone jack will get you nowhere.

Two possible ways to achieve 5.1 gaming:

1. USB stereo headset with integrated "sound-card" (e.g. Creative X-FI series) -- probably won't work with consoles, since they lack the necessary sound emulation software.

2. Real Dolby 5.1 headset with multiple jacks (connected to the AVR) or USB.

Turtle Beach sounds like they have exactly what you're looking for:

Ear Force X41 Digital RF Wireless Game Audio+ Chat with Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound

Or if you want, you can get the older Ear Force X4 Dolby Digital Wireless for a little less money. I have personally used this headset one time at a friend's house and thought it was awesome. I just don't play enough online CMP to warrant the purchase.

I also found this while searching:

TRITTON AXPRO True 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound Gaming Headset for XBOX, PS3 and PC Gaming
