Default New Super Mario Bros. Wii November 15

Who's picking this up? Wife and I are excited for this one. Good old school action with some great updates. 8 worlds and 74 levels should provide one's money's worth.

My wife loves Mario and LittleBigPlanet and this looks to merge the two so it's definitely going to end up in my house day one.

I had pre-ordered this already to make my wife happy and got around to taking a look at a couple of reviews today and am excited as hell for this game now. Got a co-worker on the bandwagon and he and his girlfriend will be buying next week as well.

The improved visuals and minimal motion integration look great, as do the new suits, and of course, the little thing call muliplayer. I don't see how this can't be a win.

nope, does not utilize it at all. We'll be pulling the motion plus pieces off to play this I'm sure. Looks like you use the wiimote old school two button style with + pad. At times you can shake the the wiimote to initiate the helicopter suit doing the obvious, and tilt it to make certain platforms tilt to and fro. I'm not clear of there are other uses as well.

actually, looks like you can perform a stall of sorts at the top of any jump by shaking the controller as well.

Don't think I've played with my Wii in over a year, I think need to knock some dust off the thing and get it patched.

lol-my wife loves playing the House of the Dead games on it, and I'll occasionally pick up Tiger with the motion plus (mainly when I have guests over-it's a great demo and a fun time), other than that, ours tends to sit there as well. This will definitely be a good reason to brush it off.

You should hack it.

I plan on buying this and A Boy and His Blob. Not sure when though.
