Abbey Road was already adequately covered. Though Oh, Darling! I'll definitely get.

They need Help! and other classic songs.

I was really disappointing that 50% of the Beatles songs per era are crap, and the other 50% are their good songs. I really dislike it when they gimp the release copies in order to cajole you into spending twice as much on a game. It's a bit different with the normal RB games, but when it's a select artist, you expect all their best songs to be on the game.

I'd say 80% of the songs on the disc are great, not 50%. However, the remaining 20% really are lame and could have easily been replaced with another 20% of awesome songs, and I totally see your point about it being classic DLC extortion. Moreover, the total number of songs is quite low, especially given that most are 2-3 minutes long.

For example, I Want You (She's So Heavy). Okay, that song is pretty cool to listen to. But it goes on for like 8 minutes, the last 5 of which are just the same thing repeated again and again. What's the point? It sucks to play. Put Let It Be on there, instead.

Or Hey Bulldog. WTF? Who the hell cares about that song? There are lots of great songs to pick from, like Rain. Or Strawberry Fields Forever.

Even some of the early songs which should have been slam-dunks aren't there. I could've had Please Please Me... instead I got Boys. And I Wanna Be Your Man. Where is It Won't Be Long? Baby's In Black? Half of the Hard Day's Night album?

P.S. I just did an actual count. IMO 30 of the 45 songs are awesome. Thusly, 67%, not 80%.

I just said 50% because it seemed like out of the 4 songs per era, it seemed like 2 songs were no-name songs, and the other 2 were more popular songs. I agree with the rest though!

How ironic that Godstar and I were having a discussion about this.

I'm still tempted to open up my copy but I must wait for Fallout 3.
