Gamstop usually does some sort of "Trade up" deal, but nothing is certain.

As a matter of fact, my weekly Gamestop email just arrived and stated the following:

"Trade up to the PSP Go Today!

Trade in your soul plus the blood of 4 newborn children and receive the brand new PSP Go for only $150!!!
Reserve yours now for this special limited time offer!*

*Offer not valid in Michigan, Ohio, and the right half of Texas"

Ugh no thanks. A smaller screen and not NEARLY enough memory for game downloading?! I'll pass.

Yeah, my bros that work at Gamestop say the "trade up" deal is total shit. Don't bother.

When the 80GB PS3 came out, Gamestop had a "deal" (sarcastic air quotes for emphasis) where you traded in your 60BG PS3 and gave them $100 and you would get an 80GB.

If they offer something on the PSP, it will likely be a similar situation of voluntary rape.

Well, I don't think your psp 2000 can be traded, but I wonder if it supports downloaded games, if it cannot, then I don't think I'll go for it.

It does to my knowledge leon. Also consider you keep a bigger screen with the 2000. This screen shrink nonsense is complete bullshit.
