Default 360 Wireless-N adapter hits the FCC

Engadget posted this morning about an official Microsoft Wireless-N adapter for the 360 photographed while going through FCC certification. Nothing official from Microsoft yet about price or availability.

Might get one of these for my main 360 so that it has a direct pipe to my N router instead of the bridge I'm using now. This would surely help out people that have issues streaming HD video to the console.

If this gen's accessory pricing trends hold, $100 won't surprise me.

Nice, I think this is the whole reason they made it an attachment in the first place.

You're probably right, but there is that cheaper method of making your own and plugging it into the USB port. It's just not as sexy.

Interesting but I hardly see the need to upgrade.

This should mean a price drop for the old wifi adapters, maybe they will finally start selling them for $50 so peopel will have one less thing to complian about.

Hopefully this means the G adaptor is getting a price cut.

People will still complain. That would be a nice drop, though.

I use an Apple Express as a WiFi bridge.

Well, I think it helps you if your reception sucks. Most phones, and computers work off of the G-range, so moving to N might provide you with better reception.
