Default Silent Hill released on US PSN.

... and unlike MGS or RE, it's $5.99. I'm downloading it just now and guessing it was patched up to work well on the PS3 (audio issues with the disc version).

Emulation wise or the actual game? The game itself is a classic but with dated graphics. It's fully 3D on the PS1.

Onto the emulation. The major audio glitch with a loud pitching sound when firing a gun at an enemy is gone but ironically the game starts off with a small synthesized audio bug.

It's 294MB.

Oh, I knew it was a classic..Used to own it. Just asking about the emulation. Sounds like a buy to me

Thanks for the information, btw.

They've been on the Japanese PSN for a while now... where have you been exactly? </Definitive RE fan reply>

Ha!

Seriously, probably pending approval by SCEA. SCEI approves the game very quickly but their western colleagues like to take their sweet time; they're making too much money already.

Man, it's a shame I still own the original PS1 game or I would have picked this up.
