I certainly hope that they are serious about supporting this because if all it ends up doing is playing PSN games.... Lame. There's not much on PSN that's good that plays on PSP.

16GB storage though? That's plenty, and quite livable if they keep the Memory Stick slot. They'd need to put Resistance: Retribution, MotorStorm: Artic Edge, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, and pretty much EVERYTHING on PSN, though.

PSP NEEDS trophies, i'm betting MS puts out a zune like the IPOD touch / GO hybrid that supports all arcade games and achievements.

This will get the hardcore more involved with hand helds.

yeah this one could be tricky, because it soley relies on downloadable content. I like the psp though so I do hope they come out with a working formula. Anyone who can but a 3d version of gta on a handheld deserves some props. I feel alot of people take for granted what the psp has done for handheld gaming. It has bridged the gap between console gaming and handhelds really well. Playing GTA on my psp was awesome and ace combat, god of war as well. Its a pretty big step in my opinion. Nothing was doing that before and nothing else can really do it now as well as the psp does.

Nothing fake about that guys. The PSP is go.

Although I am wondering why they are splitting the PSP market up so much...so the UMDs will still exist and I'll be able to buy all the new games on UMD still(I have a CFW PSP, so I doubt it will allow me to DL shit). That's my biggest concern, I don't want to buy a whole new system right now(unless it's cheaper than the regular PSP, if this comes out for 130, then that would be awesome) just to play Sony's new games, nor do I want to DL the official firmware either. Also, how is backwards compatibility going to work? I don't want to rebuy all the old games I have in downloadable form, nor should I be expected to. Need more info at E3 honestly.

EDIT: Also, this'll win E3.

Questions that need answers:

What is the Bluetooth for?
What kind of memory slot is on the bottom of the unit?
If the intent is for this unit to be on shelves beside the PSP, then does that mean there's no way to "import" your UMD-based games?
