people really need to get either a B&M or online rental membership. i saved so much money just paying $12 a month to get 360 games. some i was really hyped about buying wasnt that good or i finished real quick.

back to OP, if you like fighting games, sf4 is great. pretty good balance. even w/o lobbies online it still matches you pretty evenly against your skill level.

I thought it sucked, was hyped up by SF fans. The graphics were a joke for a next gen game, though my type of fighting games are Soul Calibur and Killer Instinct.

I don't think it's worth $60. $40??? Maybe. The game is generally well done, although some characters have balancing issues.

To be honest, for $20 (maybe less now), you can buy sf2 hd turbo on xbla/psn -- and it's essentially the same thing.

That's my two cents. I bought this game for $60 new (already had sf2hd for $20) -- and was disappointed, so I sold it to onslaught

1) Use the existing thread.

2) If your a fighter fan, which Badger really isn't, then yes, it is easily worth $60.

While this should be merged with the "Official" thread, I'd say $40 is more than worth it . . . especially since I just picked it up for that price. I would have preferred a $30 price tag, but my buddy is really getting into the game and I wanted another game to play with him online.

Additionally, now that I've had additional time with it, I'd disagree with the sentiment that it is the same game as SSFIIHD (which is actually and has always been $15 iirc).

I think my final total on it was $250 (Limited Edition Game + Limited Edition Fight Stick).

For me it was worth it, and I continue to go back to it and pick it up and play it.

1.) Agreed

2.) I think a non-fighter's opinion is equally important. It's your basic street fighter, so if you're a huge fighter fan, then you probably already have it - or it's a no brainer. But, lots of people aren't uber fighter fans - but like picking up fun fighters every now and again. If he's one of the latter, like me (more casual fan of these types of games), I recommend he take really think it over with a $60 price tag. For $40, it's an easier purchase. Not everyone is gaga over anything and everything fighter, but at the same time, they can still highly enjoy these games
