Default call of duty 4 and waw vs kz2

I enjoy the cod's and I am tempted to pick up kz2.

How is kz2's MP compared to the cod's?

Is it as fun/addicting?

I want to play killzone 2's single player, but I can just rent for that, but for longevitiy I am looking at the MP

any opinions are appreciated

my only gripe on kz2 isn't kz2's fault, I hate the ps3 controller for fps

I just hope it's not too suck and how is the precision in kz2's aiming?

cod's feel just right

I think KillZone is the most fair, as it offers no rewards for kill streaks on the level of artillery and dogs like COD.

I'd say they're fairly even. Though COD has features and game types that KZ2 does not. KZ2 has no free for all, no party system, and no co-op, all three things are something COD has. Hell, COD has a survival mode. So really, I feel KZ2 is more fun for what it does, but without lone-wolf type online, a cooperative experience, and really any way to stick with friends throughout matches, you may be drawn back to COD. If you love the total warzone like atmosphere and intensity of KZ2, it'll keep you coming back for more.

If you ask me which I prefer at the end of the day, I'd say neither as Resistance 2 is my current game of choice (I love Super Human co-op and Team Skirmish is fun as hell). If pressed between COD4, COD: WaW, or KillZone 2.... It'd be a hard one, but KillZone 2 wins EVER so slightly because of how intense the fire fights can be in multiplayer.

what is this controller input lag i read about in killzone 2?

is it that bad or has been patched?

also seems like there are not alot of guns in killzone 2. Does everybody start off with same guns and you pick guns up on different parts of the map?

How does the ps3 controller feel for you, me personally that's my biggest gripe.

are there alot of guns in r2 mp?

does r2 feel heavy like killzone 2 or light / smooth like cod

KZ2 > Battlefield Bad Comany > Cod4

If you're really worried about it, give it a rent. You can get a pretty good feel for it within an hour or two, and renting is only a couple bucks

Different gameplay style. I agree with Onslaught's assessment, but your opinion may differ. The only thing I can say to justify the statement COD4 > KZ2 (in MP) that isn't just my personal opinion is that KZ2 lacks a party system. Other than that, they're both very well executed games that are great for what they are.

It's kinda like Star Wars vs. LotR. You can like one, you can like the other, you can like both. They can't really be directly compared.

For me the controlls were really bad for KZ2. It just never felt right to me.

COD was MUCH better...but KZ2 is very nice to look at.
