Default Brutal Legend - Metal Massacre!

Joystic's impressions here
http://www.joystiq.com/2009/04/03/jo...end/#continued

Nice long read, game looks really inventive and very awesome. I really liked the Medievil series on PS1, and this seems to be a no-brainer for fun value, and interesting story/experience..

This is going just under Modern Warfare 2 on my hotly anticipated game list

EDIT: Here's KoCrapTu's take/impressions:

Yeah, same for me. Anything with Schafer's name on it is an automatic buy.

Not a fan of how the chars are drawn. Reminds of me of the fable series and I hate that.

I can see this. I'm not going to say I'm a giant fan of the art direction either, but it's Schafer. I put my trust in him.

err, I meant to say that I enjoyed the Medievil series, and this REMINDS me of the style.
I can't pretend to know lots about Schafer, but I understand he did Grim Fandango, and I loved that game...

Shoeless - I like the art direction so far, it's really got that old metal album look, Rodney Matthews and all that, great fantasy art stuff.. I hope we can travel into some old YES! albums!
