= Awesome, i'm importing this if it doesn't come stateside.

It is the best JRPG to grace next gen consoles period.

It's pretty tight with Valkyria Chronicles for that honor

I'd give the victory to Valkyria Chronicle personally (which is getting a TV series). I hope the ToV movie is good, the Tales of the Abyss TV series looked pretty decent.

Damn, seriously? The game is THAT good if you like S/JRPGs?

I guess if Snad says its as good if not better than ToV, it must be good. I will have to give it a go here pretty soon as I am in need of a good RPG.

Yeah I really liked the game. I can't decide if I prefer Vesperia or not.

The game is very tactical and develops a wonderful story through cel shaded animation that fits the story book narrative.

The demo shows -very- little. Eventually you command tanks and can issue orders which are like magic powers.

Yeah i've been holding off on playing it, I heard they were re-releasing it in 09 in Japan and hoped it fell in the 09 "must have trophies" rule and get me a patch!

But probably won't happen, that's my scheme anyway. Can you really fairly compare the game as a JRPG though?

I haven't played Vesperia for comparison, but as far as I find it unlikely that doing so will change my opinion of Disgaea 3 being the best JRPG of this generation. Even if it has graphics that are pretty bad by last gen's standards.

It is considered a JRPG, which SRPG is a subcategory I suppose.
