Rented it, its good but not great...feels too much like the first FEAR and not really scary at all. Still a lot of offices in the game and the graphics arent that great, you can tell its running off the old graphic engine and looks outdated. Doesnt even feel like a horror game at times, in a mech one second, one some star wars like level the next, wtf.

Already on level 11 out of the 14 and will finish tommorow. Didnt want to do it today cause it was getting a bit tedious at the end blah. Its a good game for shits and giggles but definitely wouldnt pay $60 for it.

I expect the price to drop on this fast, which wont be long since this game wont sell well. This is condemned 2 all over again, wont sell well and price drops to $20-30 within a few months.

Renting. I'll be done with the single player and then I'll be content.

I like my FPS SP to be a concise and intense experience. The COD games prove that in SP less is often more.

Don't artificially drag out a campaign to make it repetitive. Invest that time in developing the MP aspect that will actually have legs.

I suppose I'll be Gameflying it.

I have GameFly for games like these. I am curious how it plays out as a sequel, but once I beat it I don't want it sitting on my shelf. With GameFly, I get it, beat it, and move on to the next one.

what? Single player is the only part of a game that matters. That's why i love RPG's, they're a long tale that you can really get involved in, and not just a quick few missions. I don't find there's any point to playing a game if it's not something you can get absorbed into

The FEAR 2 demo is way better than the original fear. as soon as i get around to beating FEAR i'll probably pick up the sequel. it should be like $40 by that time.
