Seems to be what I thought it would be. It's a prettier RE4, same controls, all that. This demo has done exactly NOTHING to raise or lower my expectations for the game. I'm still looking forward to it as a fun game, but it's not on my game of the year list, just a fun "popcorn flick" game. I'm still more interested (potentially) in Heavy Rain and what it could do.

Graphics are, of course, good, but yeah, control;-wise, it feels exactly like I'm playing a PS2 or PS1 game with shiny, SHINY visuals. Which is what I thought I would get.

Co-op could bring a brand new dynamic to the series.

Try Dead Space.

In some senses this game will merge the greatness of old school with cutting edge graphics and a resident evil fans dream come true...coop. A mode that many Resident Evil fans have envisioned so the PSX days.

That would be sweet. EA might do it if RE5 is popular enough.

Oh my, oh my, oh my.

In some minutes I'll dive into my first, true RE/Biohazard experience.

I say "first true" because I once or twice played RE1 in the shopping mall, when I was a kid. But that was long ago and at the age of 8 I couldn't really enjoy it.

RE1 came in 1996 or 1997, if I remember right. So yeah. I was eight by that time.

I'm stuck in the demo. Quit the first level after I miserably failed after the first 3 minutes and am in the middle of level 2 now. That chainsaw guy is freaking me off.

Do I have to kill him, or is there another way to acquire the gate key?
