Default A new age

Where games don't ship with their endings

I won't spoil anything for those who haven't played it, but if you felt a little bummed/cheated by the end of Prince of Persia, you might want to look into picking up the game's DLC.

Due on February 26, the DLC will serve as an epilogue to the events of the game, along with adding two new player skins, a new boss (though he's a lazy re-skin), a new area to explore, new moves, a new power move (involving QTEs) and, least importantly, new, incessant dialogue between Elika and Nathan Drake the Prince.

No word on pricing yet, but as one of the aforementioned people left feeling a little bummed by the way the main game ended, the prospect of actually finishing the story may prove too good to pass up, cheap marketing ploy or not.

Yeah DLC is a double edge sword and should be better regulated. Everyone knows most of this content is half assed or already made before the games releaesed then just held to sell at extra profit.

Nathan Drake? Is'nt he from a different game?
Long are the days when you used to buy a game and it would be the complete package.

I didn't like Prince of Persia... I hurried up and finished the game, then sold it right away.

Really? It did get good reviews, so maybe I am wrong here, but I didn't find it to be a lot of fun.

Here's my overview:

Fight a creature (1 - 2 minutes)
Jump around walls and beams while trying to find light orbs (20 minutes)
Fight a creature (1 -2 minutes)
Jump around walls and beams while trying to find light orbs (20 minutes)
Fight a boss (3 - 5 minutes)
Jump around walls and beams while trying to find light orbs (1 hour)
Repeat

That and he is the exact same voice actor. Same guy did Drake and the Prince.

Edit - Regarding the story, I don't care for the idea. Another incidence of dlc gone wrong, imo.

Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed the game, even though I think it's as Yahtzee says, that the devs keep taking one step forward and one step back with every iteration. Sands of Time is still by far the best Prince of Persia...

I just think we are being milked now.
