Finished God of War II (from the PS3 collection), fun, but I kind of feel like it's a tad overrated. There's a ton of down right painful sequences to play. The game was simply un fun at times to play. I'd give it at 3 out of 4 stars. Cool ending sequence though, hypes me up to play the 3rd game.

I just finished my first "strictly for fun" playthrough of Uncharted 2 on normal. It deserves the Game of the Year accolades. I'm still an RPG guy at heart, but if someone asked me "So why should I get a PS3?" I'd just put that game in and let them play for an hour. Question answered.

I didn't find the Uncharted 2 end boss too bad actually, in that I was able to figure out how to kill him on my own. Poor boss design would be like RE5's end boss where it is actually impossible to kill him on your first attempt unless you read a walkthrough or something.

Well, it was better than Uncharted 1's boss. It was ok, I guess. Hearing the end boss' dialogue over and over though was funny.

I finally finished Assassin's Creed II .. great game, the controls were a little frustrating at times and it was a little long for my liking, but everything else was mostly fantastic. 8.5 of 10.

Moving on to "The Saboteur" and I still hope to finish up "Mass Effect" before the sequel comes out.

I'm just about to finish up AC2 tonight as well. 8.5 seems about right. I want to give it a 9 just because I LOVE the concept so much, but the free running still needs a lot of work IMO and the game felt rather easy. And since there is no variation of difficulties, that hurts things a bit.

I just finished God of War 1 from the collection. Liked it, and about 1/3 the way through GOW2 now.

Speaking of which, the ending of AC2 officially cements my 8.5

Lol does that mean the ending raised it and put it at 8.5 or that the ending detracted it to 8.5?

The hardest part of the game is when the controls don't do what you want/think they should do. The actual difficulty was rather easy otherwise.

    Still, I can't wait for AC3...

Detracted. But not by a whole lot necessarily. I was teetering between 8.5 and 9, but that ending definitely made it an 8.5 for me.
