Default Heavenly Sword is still cool

I rented it again just to see how it looks compared to new stuff and I have to say it's still beautiful and looks better than other new games out there.

Also, it's still fun.

Crazy

What launch game or close to launch game do you still play or would like to play again

Heavenly Sword wasn't anywhere near a launch game unless you consider a year later close to launch...

There are no PS3 launch games I'm still playing. Much higher quality games have been released since then.

I still play The Legend of Zelda very frequently.

I also play the first Toshinden now and then. It's a horrible game, but it was the first 3D game I played way back on an imported PSX and I like to just go back to it now and then to... for... well I don't know why, I just like to.

I don't remember if Jumping Flash was a launch title or not, but I know it's one eof the earliest PSX games I still play.

The first SSX still holds up well, but I prefer Tricky more.

And of Course Mario 64 and Zelda: LttP.

Meh, it had so much screen tearing in the cutscenes.

I still have to replay Uncharted (which also had tearing, but not as bad as HS) for the trophies.

Everyone I'm sure feels that way. I didn't care for the first SSX.

Anyway, I have to say that I still play Half Life 2 twice or so a year since it's release.

Resident Evil 2 is something I also try to play every so often.

I played Suikoden 1 and 2 every time a new title is about to be released. The newer ones just aren't as good. However, Suikoden 5 is close. I still need to beat that game.

Do you just not like the first one, or the series in general? I think the series peaked at Tricky. SSX3 was prettty cool, but it just died after that to me.

I didn't like SSX at all.

I love SSX Tricky. I think that game is a masterpiece of trick/racing/extreme sports games. I have yet to play a game even remotely close to it.

SSX 3 I thought I liked. I however quickly started to think it's garbage. The "open world design" ruined the game for me. It was terrible.

I'm not even aware they made any others...well, besides the downhill whatever on the Wii. It's on the Wii....enough said.

They released SSX: On Tour that ditched all the existing charcters in favor of a player-crated avatar and went with a very punk art style, IIRC.

In your opinion, is it a rental or a buy?
