Default retiring from smackdown

it takes up way too much energy to try to prove someone wrong. and it just causes hostility. does anyone else think its time to retire console smackdown? besides now we got marvel vs dc.

I've thought about retiring from this whole site to somewhere sane like GAF, but....

I never use the word "retire" when it comes to games or posting on forums -- things that are not jobs, and are entirely voluntary =P

I'm a super moderator on an mmo, and people talk about retiring all the time (and are back a month later )

Retiring the board is unnecessary. However, moving the game room up to the top (as we've suggested) would make things much better around here.

badger, i asked someone high up again about moving some sections around. i want this more than you do, no matter how much you want it lol.

and yeah, retiring is silly, but not as silly as "goodbye threads"

Its just video games.. which is supposed to be for entertainment. I think if you detach your emotions from the console war and just focus on the entertainment value, then you can debate people without having to worry about being right or wrong.
