Default PS3: Overlord Raising Hell

Anyone played this demo yet? I thought it was quiet entertaining.

Heres the official site if you wanted to check it out.

I didnt really like it on 360.
It was fun but i got bored of it, it wouldve been better if it was open world imo.

That could be true, the demo is only like 15-20mins long. So kill a few guys, burn the halflings in the wheat... thats about it.

I'm willing to give this game a chance at some point, though I may not buy it immediately. I'll likely either pick it up used or wait and give the retail price some time to drop. I'm all for more quirky games that try something different and have a sense of humor, so as flawed as Overlord may be, I think it might offer enough to keep me entertained.

It's mostly humor. There isn't really any gameplay involved in my opinion, unless you consider sending little pets off to fight is considering a combat system. It's fun to play for the story, but that's about it. I'm just glad I got it as a gift and didn't have to pay for it

How is the story for the game? Rhianna Pratchett--Terry Pratchett's daughter--is supposed to have written it. She did the same for Heavenly Sword as well, I believe. Does it have her father's touch in it at all humor-wise?
